Hello everyone!

This is going to be going up before the final Daily Commander, so I wanted something that would be out to keep those who don’t know what’s going on informed and updated one the goings on of the website.

Break and Daily becoming Weekly

So once the final Daily Commander goes out, I will be taking a break from posting anything to the blog for a bit.

I’ll be out of commission from posting a blog until October 31st, where a lot will be coming out.

First of all, for those who don’t know, Daily Commander will no longer be the primary blog of the website and will shift into Weekly Commander, where I will go more in depth on Commanders and their potential strategies, variety of prices of cards that can be used, potential Game Changers that the decks can use, and much more.

It has been a long journey with plenty of ups and downs, but I do think that it is better for the blogs, and my mental health, if I keep it that way.

But that will not be the only thing that will be coming out on October 31st.

Casual Chat and Q&A

I did a slight error for the Casual Chat, in that I didn’t post one last month when I really should have.

To make up for that there will be two Casual Chats that will also be coming out on October 31st.

One will be my long awaited review of Final Fantasy III, which I have quite a bit to say and if you have watched my streams of Final Fantasy IV, you may have heard a couple of those opinions already.

The second Casual Chat is going to be a different one because it’s going to be a Q&A!

You can all use the comments section on this blog post or ask me on BlueSky on a post that will be made a little after the final Daily Commander is posted.

Some simple rules about the questions: be mindful of personal questions such as questions about my family or where I live or things of that nature. Some information I will indulge and other information I will not indulge, just keep common sense in mind and odds are I will answer most questions.

If there aren’t enough questions for the Q&A, I will have a backup Casual Chat, but if there are plenty of questions then that will be saved for the November Casual Chat.

New Blog Schedule

Once the October 31st blogs come out, I will be back to writing blogs, and while it won’t be everyday there is still a decent variety of blogs that will be releasing.

Mondays will have a brand new blog, of which I’m still working the details on but it will involve custom cards, though it will not be a continuation of Magic Project: Omega. Instead it will be a new project that more details will come out with the first blog.

Wednesdays will continue being the Magic Super Cube, and while there will be a bit of a break until October 31st, we will come back full force in getting them in every week.

Fridays will be the new home for Weekly Commander, where if the final Daily Commander blog is to be looked at, they will be much longer and way more detailed.

On the last Friday of every month going forward will also be a Casual Chat, where I will talk about a random topic that interests me that month whether that be card games, a video game I finished, or something else entirely.

I am also open to suggestions on potential topics for the Casual Chat or new blogs that you all want me to explore, just make a suggestion and it’ll be something that I consider doing.

Videos and Streams

I have not been the best about videos and streaming, and that’s more of a consequence of real life keeping me from doing so. Like I’ve said before, I do have a job outside of all of this and since things have been getting a bit rough for me, I have been working as many hours as I can.

That being said, I do want to stream more and make some unique videos that aren’t just the stream VODs.

If there are any video ideas that you want me to explore then feel free to suggest them. I have a couple of ideas in mind, but they need a bit of work and not all of those ideas involve Magic or card games, which can be pretty rough for new YouTube channels.

I’ll need to find something that works for me and do it well and consistently to make any progress, but I can be a bit wishy washy on that front, so it will still take some time.

As far as streaming goes, that one is still a bit more on the loosey goosey side of things. I stream when I can or am in the mood to, so that will be a little less consistent.

I will try to stream more often, but I can’t make a definitive schedule as things are a bit hectic at the moment.

Getting Cheesy

This is where I say thank you all for reading the blogs, liking and leaving comments, and even recommending me to other people on their blogs, that was the most surprising to me.

You all have made it possible for me to keep going and not just giving up after a couple of months and letting the website lapse into the void of the internet.

You all have made me enjoy writing, looking deeper into Magic, and just interacting with the community just a little bit more and I am forever grateful. I even managed to get blogs out, on time, while I was on vacation in Japan, and shortly after that, out of town for two weeks for a work thing (talk about stressful)!

I do hope that you all continue on this journey with me with these new blogs and other endeavors and I hope that more people can join in. Share the blogs if you like them, point people who might like them in this direction and it will help the website more and more.

I know I need to do my part and do better about advertising the website, but any help would be wonderful.

Who knows, maybe one day this can be my job.

I’m not delusional in thinking that I can make this my job immediately, I only put one year of work into the website and have made some pretty solid progress.

It may take another year, or two, or five, or ten until that becomes viable, but until then I am ready to go!
