Hello and welcome to the Weekly Round-Up!

Gonna be a short one since it’s late (again, sorry), so let’s get started!

Daily Commander

This week we finished up the last of the three color combinations and went on to talk about the four color combinations.

Slow and steady wins the race, especially if we slow everyone else down with Archelos, Lagoon Mystic.

We then went on a mutate spree with Snapdax, Apex of the Hunt and let everyone draw a ton of cards with no downsides whatsoever (citation needed) with Xyris, the Writhing Storm.

Afterwards we piled on the some artifact value with Breya, Etherium Shaper and went into cascade shenanigans with Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder.

Saskia the Unyielding came next with some aggro and blink strategies and then we followed a defenders matter strategy with Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis.

We are goin to finish the last four color combination, go colorless after that and then back to random Commanders as I work to get ahead of writing Daily Commanders before my trip in two weeks.

I would Saskia was the most interesting Commander to write about, considering blinking and aggro is not a combination of strategies that I would run normally.

Casual Chat and Magic Super Cube

This last week we also did our usual Casual Chat as well as a Magic Super Cube.

This Casual Chat talked about a brand new trading card game in VCard TCG, and was the first post I had to do a major edit in because one of the people involved posted an update and I wanted to do my due diligence and posting that the blog was done prior to the update.

The update did address some of the issues I had with the card game, but there still are some issues I had and hopefully they are addressed as the newer sets get released.

Like I said, I don’t want games to fail, especially ones made by independent content creators so hopefully I can write an update in the future talking about how great the game has become. Only time will tell on that front.

We also delved into the Magic Super Cube once again, this time adding cards from Antiquities onto the list.

This was an interesting set to add, once again being a smaller set, and I had to get real creative in adding interesting cards as well as functional cards to the Cube list, which you can catch up on here.

We are going back to Magic Project: Omega, where I am going to show some cards that will help dictate where the set is going to go. As for the Casual Chat, it’ll be a card game topic again, not sure what it’ll be at the moment, but I will be sure to get it done in a timely manner.

Remember Casual Chats will continue while I am away, but Magic Super Cube and Magic Project: Omega and the Weekly Round-Up will not.

In Conclusion

That’s it for this week everyone, hopefully things have been going well for all of you and continue to go well as things get more and more hectic.

Thank you for reading, see you next time (hopefully on time)!

Peace,

From, J.M. Casual
